Where It All Began

Heffner Printing was founded in 1948 by Henry Heffner in the small hamlet of Pricetown Pennsylvania. It was a small letterpress job shop in Henry's garage and remained relatively unchanged for 40 years. Henry's wife, Leona, would hand set lead type and orders being

printed on a 1950 Heidelberg Letterpress which is still used on a regular basis.  

In 1988, with Henry wishing retire, the company was purchased by Murray I. Hoffman and remained in Pricetown  for 4 more years. 

With continued growth, and an ever-increasing loyal customer base, the need for larger equipment and a modern facility was required. The company has relocated 2 times in the past 36 years, but has remained close to its roots with its permanent home only 2 miles from the original Pricetown location.
